Renegades Drop Black Bears, 3-0
|
The Hudson Valley Renegades got a magnificent performance from pitcher Alex Cochrane, who muffled the West Virginia offense en route to a tight 3-0 Renegades win at Dutchess Stadium. The Renegades go to 16-7, putting them second in the McNamara Division.
The situation was dicey in the top of the fourth. But this was not Alex Cochrane's first rodeo. With the bases loaded and West Virginia trailing 3-0, Cochrane was able to pitch out of the jam when Mario Sierra grounded out.
