The Auburn Doubledays downed the Vermont Lake Monsters, 5-3, at Falcon Park. Matt Wilson led the way, going 2-for-3 for Auburn. The win makes Auburn 16-8.

Brett Baughman, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2106 draft, helped out the Auburn cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 4.

"I was able to square up some pitches," said Wilson.
