Doubledays Pick Up 2-0 Win Over West Virginia
Rich Montalvo never let the Black Bears get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Doubledays to a win, 2-0. The 5th-place Doubledays improved to 10-14.

The Doubledays got a big at-bat from designated hitter Chris Kane. For the game, Kane went 1-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Auburn a 1-0 lead.

"Scoring was at a premium tonight," Montalvo said.
