4-0 Win by Ironbirds Continues Hot Start

The Aberdeen Ironbirds got a stellar effort from pitcher Al Cerda, helping Aberdeen score a win over the visiting Hudson Valley Renegades, 4-0. The Ironbirds, at 19-8, sit in first place in the McNamara Division.
Aberdeen took the lead, 4-0, on Rick Carlson's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Hudson Valley pitcher Robby Pieklo in the bottom of the seventh.
"I was able to really locate my pitches tonight," said Cerda.
