The Aberdeen Ironbirds faced a tenacious opponent in Lowell pitcher Aaron Adams, but still scratched out a win at Edward A. LeLacheur Park by a final score of 3-2 in 11 innings. Adams went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win went to Jonathan Carson in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Salvador Lopez took the loss. The win gives Aberdeen a season record of 20-8.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Fernando Fiscal? The 20-year old second baseman Fiscal stroked a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning to put Aberdeen up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
