Doubledays Rally to Win
The Doubledays grabbed a win, 5-3, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, overcoming a fine effort from State College pitcher Sam Stratton. Stratton went 7.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. Auburn reliever Matt Griffin picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Dennis Galeana took the loss. Rogelio Ortiz notched his 1st save of the season.

Chris Kane came through with a big-time hit for Auburn. The first baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We put it together and came out with the win," Kane said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The Doubledays improved their record to 13-18 with the win over State College.
