Cyclones RF Bashioum goes 3-for-4 in Win
Good production from first baseman Robby Bashioum helped the Brooklyn Cyclones topple the Lowell Spinners, 8-5. Bashioum was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for the Cyclones. Javier Benzor, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 3-1. Travis DeVore earned the save for Brooklyn.

With Brooklyn leading 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Bashioum hit a fastball from Mario Rendon for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 8-3.
