The Brooklyn Cyclones went down to defeat to Joe Sard and his Lowell teammates. The final score was 2-1 in favor of the Spinners. The win makes Lowell 15-16.

Runs were scarce in this one. So, Jim Porcelli's at-bat in the top of the tenth was vitally important. With one out, the Lowell third baseman hit a sacrifice fly, to give his team a 2-1 lead.

"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Brooklyn manager Bill Foshee.
