In Extras, Ironbirds Beat Lake Monsters
Due in part to designated hitter Fernando Fiscal, the Aberdeen Ironbirds chopped down the Vermont Lake Monsters, 6-5, in 10 innings. Fiscal went 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Aberdeen reliever Robby Stamm, now 2-1. The loser was Josh McCloud. Aberdeen now has a record of 23-8 with the win.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Fiscal hit a changeup from Josh McCloud for a run-scoring single. The Ironbirds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Fiscal said.
