Spinners Go Down to Defeat, 5-1
|
Brooklyn Cyclones starter Ricardo Guzman pitched a strong game against the Lowell Spinners at MCU Park, leading the Cyclones to victory, 5-1. The Cyclones now have a mark of 18-14.
With two out in the bottom of the second, Fernando Turcios barreled up a slider from Eddie Grajeda. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Cyclones in front, 3-0.
"It was a good effort all around," said Guzman.
