Win Goes to Spinners in Tight Contest
The Lowell Spinners locked up a win at Edward A. LeLacheur Park, knocking off the Tri-City ValleyCats, 3-2. On the mound for Lowell was right-hander David Pando. He played a major role in the triumph. Jaylen Moody collected save number 4. Today's win puts Lowell at 10-22, while Tri-City falls to 15-17.

Ruben Delgado hit a 2-run triple off Marc Wicker in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Spinners in front, 3-2. Delgado had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.

"David answered the bell," said Lowell manager Victor Aquino.
