Muckdogs Get Dramatic 7-6 Triumph
The Batavia Muckdogs defeated the Auburn Doubledays by the score of 7-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Devin Ferguson. Ferguson was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Muckdogs on the day. Batavia bumps their record to 14-19 with the win.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Ferguson hit a fastball from Juan Alfaro for a run-scoring single. The Muckdogs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Ferguson.
