The Aberdeen Ironbirds picked up a win at Ripken Stadium, knocking off the Vermont Lake Monsters, 9-5. Starting pitcher Gabriel Singletary was a big reason why. Singletary picked up the win for Aberdeen, going 8 innings. He gave up 5 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Aberdeen is second in the McNamara Division with a record of 19-14.
