The Lowell Spinners went down to defeat to Belchior Matinhata and his Auburn teammates. The final score was 5-1, Doubledays, in 10 innings. Auburn currently is in 5th place in the Pinckney Division at 13-21.

Auburn used the timely hitting of Jose Santana to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Doubledays on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"When Belchior is on, he can really move the ball around," said Auburn manager Maxwell Judson.
