Behind a fine performance from Danny Carmona, the Auburn Doubledays knocked off the Williamsport Crosscutters, 11-4. Carmona went 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Doubledays. Bobby Bean closed it out for his 1st save. The Doubledays now have a record of 15-20.

With Auburn leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Carmona hit a fastball from Alex Reyes for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Doubledays ahead, 4-0.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Carmona told reporters after the game.
