Behind the bravura of designated hitter Herb McGaughey, the Staten Island Yankees topped the Lowell Spinners by the score of 7-0. McGaughey threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball for the Yankees. Jim Unknown closed it out for his 1st save. The win puts Staten Island at 13-22.
