Scrappers Show Moxy in 7-6 Win
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers found a way to sneak past the Brooklyn Cyclones, 7-6, in 11 innings. Mahoning Valley pitcher Peter Killion, for one, had a standout performance. Edgar Reyes was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Matt Lowe. The Scrappers raised their record to 18-18.

The Scrappers got a clutch hit from catcher Bobby Wainscott. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Scrappers.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Wainscott said in his postgame press conference.
