Big Day for Sanchez as Tigers Down Lake Monsters, 11-7
The Vermont Lake Monsters and Connecticut Tigers delighted fans at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium.

The Connecticut Tigers knocked off the Vermont Lake Monsters, 11-7, at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium. Alex Sanchez was a big reason Connecticut won. The left fielder was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. The Tigers go to 11-25 with the win.

Logan Fore, who is tied for 5th in the NYP with a .586 slugging percentage, came through for Connecticut with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. The center fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 4 runs batted in.
