On Road, Staten Island Drops Batavia, 8-4
|
Staten Island catcher Tyler Terry had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Batavia Muckdogs, 8-4. Bobby Nilsen snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Jesse Millen suffered the loss. Staten Island is now 21-15, Batavia 12-24.
The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Terry hit a 3-run home run off Jesse Millen. It propelled the Yankees into the lead, 3-0.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Terry.
