Riding the 2-hit performance of the 20-year old second baseman Fernando Fiscal, the Aberdeen Ironbirds stopped the Hudson Valley Renegades, 9-0. Earning his 1st save of the year was Sean Wilkins. Aberdeen leads the McNamara Division by 5½ games.

Fiscal had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second to put Aberdeen in front, 2-0. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Hudson Valley pitcher Dave Frausto.

"It felt good to put the barrel on the ball," said Fiscal.
