Castro Gives Williamsport Goose Eggs
|
Tony Castro of the State College Spikes blanked the Williamsport Crosscutters, 1-0, in a complete-game win, limiting them to 4 hits while chalking up 11 strikeouts and giving up 1 walk.
"He's got the makeup. He's not afraid to challenge guys," State College manager Paul Thomas said to BNN reporters after the game. "Tony is poised out there. He knows how to pitch and how to use his stuff."
