The Hudson Valley Renegades defeated the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 9-2, at Ripken Stadium. Carlos Aguilar was one of the standouts for Hudson Valley. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 triple, in addition to the 1 run he scored and 2 he knocked in. Hudson Valley reliever Eric Ramsey was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Curtis Miller took the loss.

With Hudson Valley leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Aguilar hit a run-scoring single off Aberdeen hurler Curtis Miller. It was the 24th hit of the season for Aguilar and put his team ahead, 2-0.
