State College Spikes starter Trent Berry turned in a sparkling performance against the Lowell Spinners, leading his team to a 3-2 win. Berry got the win, improving to 3-3. He gave up 6 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. The win puts the Spikes at 19-20, while the Spinners drop to 24-15.

State College used the hitting of Jarred DiSpirito to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Spikes on top, 3-1. For the game, DiSpirito had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
