Brooklyn Drops Aberdeen in Pitchers' Duel
The Brooklyn Cyclones topped the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 2-0, in New York-Penn League action at MCU Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Brooklyn pitcher Jesus Jimenez. Paul Hale earned the save, his 1st. The Cyclones saw their record improve to 17-27.

David Allwood hit a run-scoring triple off Vince McMillion in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Cyclones in front, 1-0. Allwood had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.
