The Brooklyn Cyclones picked up a win at MCU Park, dropping the Lowell Spinners, 5-1. Tony Aguirre was the difference-maker. The Cyclones improved their record to 26-18 with the win over Lowell.

The Cyclones got a big at-bat from third baseman Mike Young. For the game, Young was 2-4 with a triple and a double. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 4th triple of the season gave Brooklyn a 2-1 lead.

"Tony set the tone," said Tom King, the Cyclones manager.
