The Auburn Doubledays defeated the Staten Island Yankees, 9-2. Center Fielder Armando Corado deserved a large share of the credit. Corado went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Doubledays. Auburn is third in the Pinckney Division with a record of 24-20.

Malachi Dash helped out the Auburn cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder went 1-3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
