ValleyCats Win, Bown drives in 4 runs
The Tri-City ValleyCats defeated the Batavia Muckdogs, 8-4, at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. Tri-City was led by 20-year old left fielder Paul Bown, who was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Luis Hernandez nailed down his 1st save. The first-place ValleyCats have won 4 straight games.

Bown contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Tri-City get the win.

"Not the sexiest win," said ValleyCats manager Alex Ordonez, "but I'll take it."
