Spikes Send West Virginia Home with 5-2 Loss
Getting an impressive start from Mario Morales, State College beat West Virginia by the score of 5-2. The first-place Spikes now have a record of 28-16.

State College got a big at-bat from Allendale, Michigan native Steve Dobbs, who in the bottom of the third hit a run-scoring double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Spikes ahead, 2-0.

"When I throw strikes I'm good, if I don't I'm not very good," said Morales. "So I just have to throw strikes."
