The Auburn Doubledays had to weather a strong performance from Williamsport pitcher Hector Cahue before claiming a 3-1 win in 10 innings. Cahue went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. The Auburn win streak is now 3 games.

Auburn used a timely hit from Ricardo Aguilera to get the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Doubledays ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
