Sean Boyle had a 3-RBI night to help the Auburn Doubledays down the West Virginia Black Bears, 8-3. Ian Vick got credit for the win, improving to 3-0. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 4.1 innings. Ernesto Fedele earned the save, his 2nd.

Early in the game, Boyle had a 2-run home run for Auburn. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Doubledays on top, 2-0.

"We take it day by day here," said Boyle, "and today was a good one for us."

The Doubledays sit in 5th place in the Pinckney Division with a record of 19-26.
