Renegades Use Late Rally to Win
|
The Hudson Valley Renegades racked up a win at Dutchess Stadium, bumping off the Brooklyn Cyclones, 4-3. Casey Reavis, who started for Hudson Valley, pitched effectively for his team. Hudson Valley pitcher Jared Watson got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Chris Horan got the loss. The Renegades now have a mark of 38-7.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Hudson Valley center fielder Ryan Kaplan, facing Chris Horan, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Renegades the 4-3 win.
"Casey was pretty good at keeping their guys off-balance," said Hudson Valley manager Marquise Woods.
