The Auburn Doubledays and Williamsport Crosscutters completed their game despite the rain.

The Williamsport Crosscutters got a superb performance from pitcher Luis Baquera, but the Auburn Doubledays still won the game, 4-3. Baquera threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Getting the save was Ray Koval, his 3rd.

Jeff Pellerin had a direct impact on the outcome. Pellerin contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Auburn up, 4-3.

"I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Auburn manager Carlos Lugo said afterward.

Auburn occupies 5th place in the Pinckney Division at 27-32.
