The Brooklyn Cyclones got a stellar performance from pitcher Danny Botelho, who handcuffed the West Virginia offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Russell Diethrick Park. Tyler Hawkes, the 24-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Hawkes contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put Brooklyn up, 3-0.
