The Staten Island Yankees bested the Williamsport Crosscutters by a score of 7-5, with second baseman Jason McCarthy getting the main credit. On the day, McCarthy was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Yankees. Staten Island pitcher Jim Unknown got the win. He's now 1-0.
