Renegades Handed 4-0 Loss by Cyclones

Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Hudson Valley Renegades take on the Brooklyn Cyclones.
Keith dejong had a strong outing for the Brooklyn Cyclones against the Hudson Valley Renegades at Dutchess Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-0 win. dejong, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing no runs.
Jasper Weeks had a direct impact on the outcome. Weeks contributed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Brooklyn up, 2-0.
"Winning is the only objective," said Weeks after the game.
The Cyclones, at 19-29, sit in third place in the McNamara Division.
