The Brooklyn Cyclones had to overcome a good performance from Connecticut pitcher Miguel Rodarte to claim a 3-2 win at MCU Park. Rodarte went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Jediah Childers picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Kenneth Creasy was tagged with the loss. Brooklyn has a record of 18-31, placing them last in the McNamara Division.

Brooklyn took a 3-2 lead on Kevin Wilson's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run, which Wilson hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Connecticut pitcher Kenneth Creasy visibly frustrated.

"It never gets old," said Wilson. "Winning, that is."
