Auburn starter Brenden Allison pitched well against the Connecticut Tigers at Falcon Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. With the victory, the Doubledays record stands at 19-29.

The Doubledays got a big hit from first baseman Miguel Cardona. In the bottom of the sixth, Cardona smacked a 2-run home run off Connecticut pitcher Paulino Marin. It was his 1st home run of the season. Suddenly, the Doubledays were ahead, 3-2.

"It was a solid team effort," said Cardona after the game.
