Doubledays Get 4-0 Win Versus Connecticut
|
Starting pitcher Brent Koehne did his part in helping the Auburn Doubledays thwart the Connecticut Tigers, 4-0. The 4th-place Doubledays improved to 18-31.
Ryan Builes, who is tied for 4th in the NYP in stolen bases with 10, aided the Auburn cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman drew 2 walk.
"Bottom line," said Connecticut skipper Josh Wells, "we didn't play well enough to win."
