Ironbirds Win with Late Heroics
The performance of Jason Robbins proved critical in helping Aberdeen beat Mahoning Valley, 3-2, in 10 innings. The Ironbirds second baseman went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. Robby Stamm, credited with the win in relief, is now 5-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. With the win, the Ironbirds have a record of 34-15.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Aberdeen. That's when Danny Sandoval hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Bryan Harmon to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
