Scrappers Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers picked up a win at Ripken Stadium, taking down the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 5-2. Starting pitcher Ben Mills was a big reason why. With the win, the Scrappers improved to 39-10.

The Scrappers liked what they saw from Mills. The 21-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Ironbirds to no runs on 3 hits over 6.1 innings, and striking out 8.

"We're on a roll," said Scrappers manager Mike McCormick.
