Black Bears Get 4-1 Win Versus Brooklyn
At Russell Diethrick Park, the Brooklyn Cyclones and West Virginia Black Bears were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

West Virginia Black Bears starter Adam Ogden turned in a top-notch performance against the Brooklyn Cyclones at Russell Diethrick Park. The result was a win for the Black Bears, 4-1. Ogden picked up the win for West Virginia, going 5 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Dave Stearns collected his 4th save.

Andrew Wilson drew 2 walks for West Virginia. The 21-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Isaiah Rhodes. It was his 13th walk of the season.

"Watch and learn," said Wilson. "This is what good pitching looks like."

The 5th-place Black Bears are now 23-27, the Cyclones 26-24.
