Betton Shines in 9-2 Lowell Win
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 25-year old shortstop Kory Betton, the Lowell Spinners stopped the Aberdeen Ironbirds, 9-2. Lowell's record now stands at 31-19, placing them third in the Stedler Division.

With Lowell leading 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Betton hit a fastball from Michael Redington for a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Spinners ahead, 3-0.

"What a dismal performance," lamented losing manager Josh Ouderkirk.
