Anderson Hits Two Dingers, Tigers Win, 8-3
|
The Connecticut Tigers beat the Batavia Muckdogs, 8-3, at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium. Adam Anderson, in particular, was impressive. He went 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Connecticut is now 20-31.
Anderson had a key at-bat for Connecticut early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave Connecticut an early 2-0 lead.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Anderson.
