The Williamsport Crosscutters picked up a win at Bowman Field, taking down the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, 5-2. Starting pitcher Billy Rauls was a big reason why. Rauls got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 3 hits and walked 0 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The third-place Crosscutters have a record of 28-23.

Ross Garabedian, the Williamsport designated hitter, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 3-0, Crosscutters. For the game, Garabedian went 1-3. He drove in 2 runs.
