Garcia Dazzles in 5-0 Aberdeen Win
Starting pitcher Luis Garcia was a major factor in the 5-0 Aberdeen Ironbirds triumph over the West Virginia Black Bears. Aberdeen is looking good at 35-16.

The standout performance belonged to 19-year-old Garcia. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Ironbirds. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Black Bears, striking out 9 and scattering 1 hit over 7 innings. Garcia is now 5-3 on the season.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Garcia after the game.
