Aberdeen Rallies for 5-3 Win
|
Aberdeen starter Adam Pollard pitched well against the Staten Island Yankees at Ripken Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Aberdeen, at 32-20, sits in second place in the McNamara Division.
Aberdeen took the lead, 5-3, on Amari Spencer's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Staten Island pitcher Jaime Edelmann in the bottom of the eighth.
Spencer attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
