The Connecticut Tigers got a marvelous performance from pitcher Josh Bradshaw. The left-hander kept the Tri-City offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 3-2 Connecticut victory at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. David Menendez collected save number 2. The win hiked the Connecticut record to 31-22.

Alex McKinnon, who is tied for 9th in the NYP in home runs with 7, had a direct impact on the outcome. McKinnon contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Connecticut up, 3-2.

"Josh commanded the zone from bottom to top," said Connecticut manager Allen Franklin.
