Brooklyn picked up a win at Edward A. LeLacheur Park, bumping off the Lowell Spinners, 4-1. Pitcher Elliot Kohn was a major reason the Cyclones emerged victorious. The save went to Yorfran Carnes, number 4 for him. Brooklyn, at 32-21, holds down second place in the McNamara Division.

Kohn was in the zone all game. He frustrated Lowell hitters while giving the Cyclones 8 innings of quality work. Kohn threw 90 pitches, allowing 5 hits and getting 9 punchouts.
