Tri-City and Hudson Valley duked it out and the ValleyCats came out victorious.

ValleyCats right fielder Bobby Inojosa put his stamp on his team's 7-4 win over the Hudson Valley Renegades. Inojosa was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 times for Tri-City in the contest. Ryan O'Dell notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4 innings. His record now sits at 2-0.

Matt Scheuer had a big 3-run home run for the ValleyCats in the bottom of the second inning. With Tri-City leading 4-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Alex Aparicio and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the ValleyCats ahead, 7-2.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Inojosa.
