Davis, Doubledays March to 9-2 Victory
Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Tommy Davis the Auburn Doubledays defeated the Williamsport Crosscutters, 9-2. Brenden Allison earned the win, while 22-year old left-handed pitcher Allen Gilmore took the loss for Williamsport. Ray Koval saved it for Auburn.

With Auburn leading 5-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Davis hit a knuckleball from David Fierro for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Doubledays ahead, 9-2.

"Their at-bats were really impressive against us," said losing manager B.J. Olenchuk.

Auburn is now 22-31, Williamsport 25-28.
