Cyclones Take Down Lake Monsters, 4-3
The Brooklyn Cyclones finished things off in style.

The Brooklyn Cyclones took Shamel Nevins's best shot and still were able to collect a win at MCU Park. The final score had Brooklyn getting past the Lake Monsters, 4-3, in 10 innings. Nevins over 7 innings allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 4. Brooklyn occupies second place in the McNamara Division at 24-31.

The Cyclones got a clutch hit from shortstop Jasper Weeks. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to left-center, to win the game for the Cyclones.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Weeks.
