The Hudson Valley Renegades defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones, 6-0, in part because of third baseman Jason Dodge. Dodge was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk for the Renegades. The Renegades raised their record to 23-33.

Arturo Ramirez had a big run-scoring triple for the Renegades in the top of the third inning. With Hudson Valley leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a changeup from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Mike Torres and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Renegades ahead, 3-0.

"No one player deserves all the credit when you win," Dodge said. "And the same is true when you lose."
