The Auburn Doubledays and Williamsport Crosscutters squared off at Falcon Park.

The Auburn Doubledays easily defeated the Williamsport Crosscutters, 18-4, at Falcon Park, with right fielder Jeff Pellerin a main contributor to the win. He was 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 4 times and driving in 5 for Auburn. Auburn reliever Tony Santillan was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Hector Cahue.

Early in the game, Pellerin had a run-scoring triple for Auburn. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Doubledays on top, 1-0.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Pellerin told the Auburn Chronicle.

Auburn sits in last place in the Pinckney Division at 24-31.
