Scrappers Rally to Win
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers beat the Batavia Muckdogs, 4-3. Mahoning Valley pitcher and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native Peter Killion led the way. After today's action, Mahoning Valley sits at 13-45, while Batavia falls to 23-35.

Mahoning Valley used a timely hit from 21-year old center fielder Danny Dungey to get the win. The second baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Scrappers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was huge.

"I still have a lot of confidence in this team," Mahoning Valley manager Jonathan Chaparro said afterward.
