Starting pitcher Vince McMillion was a major factor in the 7-2 Aberdeen Ironbirds triumph over the Vermont Lake Monsters. The Ironbirds have an impressive 37-22 record.

It could have been a different outcome for Aberdeen, had it not been for Jose Aguillon, the 22-year old second baseman . Aguillon contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Aberdeen up, 2-0.

"I always go out there hoping to contribute," said Aguillon.
