Another Day, Another Win for Crosscutters
The Williamsport Crosscutters topped the Auburn Doubledays, 7-2, in New York-Penn League action at Bowman Field. The standout performance belonged to Williamsport pitcher and Wright, Florida, native Jeremy Bennett. Billy Kamp recorded his 10th save for Williamsport. Williamsport has won 8 straight games.

The Crosscutters got a big at-bat from left fielder Justin Clark. For the game, Clark went 1-3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 14th double of the season gave Williamsport a 3-2 lead.

Bennett called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
