Brooklyn beat Hudson Valley on the strength of starter Danny Botelho's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. At 49-13, the Cyclones are currently first in the McNamara Division.

Brooklyn took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Jonathan Valentine hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Cyclones.

Valentine attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
