Lowell Wins, 11-4, Behind 2 Gracia Home Runs
The Lowell Spinners defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones, 11-4, in part because of left fielder Bobby Gracia. Gracia belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Spinners. Efrain Fernandez, the winner, is now 4-3. He struck out 7 and walked 3 over 5.1 innings, while allowing 2 runs on 5 hits. Lowell is now 23-39. Brooklyn is 33-29.

With Lowell trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Gracia hit a slider from Mike Torres for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Spinners ahead, 2-1.
